Senavida Ethics & Standards of Care Policy

1. Purpose & Guiding Principles
The Senavida Ethics & Standards of Care Policy exists to ensure every Provider operates with the highest level of integrity, safety, and respect.
Our goal is to preserve the trust of seekers and the reputation of the Senavida network by setting clear expectations for professional conduct.
Core Principles:
- Do no harm — physical, emotional, psychological, or spiritual.
- Respect autonomy, consent, and confidentiality.
- Maintain professional integrity and transparency.
- Honor cultural, spiritual, and individual diversity.
- Engage in continuous self-awareness and ethical reflection.
2. Scope of Practice
- Providers must represent their training, certifications, and credentials accurately.
- Providers may only offer services they are qualified to perform.
- Services involving physical touch, plant medicine, or altered states must follow local laws and safety protocols.
- Providers must never diagnose or prescribe unless legally authorized.
3. Informed Consent & Boundaries
- Providers must ensure Clients understand the nature, purpose, and limits of the services offered.
- All participation must be voluntary and revocable at any time.
- Physical, emotional, and energetic boundaries must be honored at all times.
- Romantic or sexual relationships with current Clients are strictly prohibited.
4. Confidentiality & Data Protection
- Client information and session notes must be kept strictly confidential.
- Providers may not share Client information without written consent, except where required by law.
- Providers using wearable or health data via Senavida must comply with all privacy and data laws.
5. Inclusivity & Respect
Senavida is an inclusive community. Providers must:
- Treat all Clients with respect regardless of gender, orientation, race, age, ability, or belief.
- Avoid any form of discrimination, coercion, or exploitation.
- Respect cultural and spiritual diversity in all forms.
6. Professional Integrity
- Providers must not make false claims about outcomes or healing.
- Testimonials, marketing content, and social posts must be truthful and aligned with Senavida standards.
- Financial interactions with Clients must be transparent and fair.
- Conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
7. Safety, Crisis, and Reporting
- Providers must take appropriate action if a Client poses a danger to themselves or others.
- Emergency situations should be referred to qualified medical or crisis professionals.
- Any harm, misconduct, or boundary violation should be reported to Senavida at support@senavida.com
