The psychedelic experience may end, but what it brings up often doesn’t. After the Journey is a donation-based virtual integration circle offering a grounded, supportive space to reflect on psychedelic experiences and explore what comes next. Join us, whether your experience was meaningful, beautiful, confusing, difficult, underwhelming, or something you’re still trying to make sense of. There is no expectation that you had a “good trip,” experienced transformation, or even know what your experience meant. Facilitated by Krystal Powell, LCSW, a psychotherapist and psychedelic-informed practitioner, the circle offers space for reflection, connection, and integration into everyday life. This is an integration/support circle, not group psychotherapy, crisis care, or a substitute for individualized mental-health treatment. Every other week | Virtual | Donation-based
Donation-based. If you're unable to attend, your donation may be eligible for credit toward a future event.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Meet Krystal Powell, LCSW Krystal Powell, LCSW, shines a light on new insights and ways of being with her clients—and regularly hands out “permission slips:” permission to explore what no longer fits, desire something different, experience more joy, and create a life that feels like your own. Nothing lights her up more than seeing someone feel truly seen and watching them come alive. For more than fifteen years, Krystal has worked with teens, adults, and families across clinics, substance use treatment, schools, community settings, private practice, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Her experience in complex, real-world environments shapes her grounded, relational approach and comfort with the in-between spaces where meaningful change often begins. One truth has remained consistent: Insight alone isn’t enough. You can understand exactly why you do what you do and still not know how to live differently. Krystal often works with high-functioning teens and adults who appear to be thriving but privately feel stuck, disconnected, or know something no longer fits. Her integrative approach blends nervous system regulation, somatic practices, parts work, mindfulness, and psychedelic-assisted therapy to help clients move beyond insight and into embodied change. Krystal believes therapy should help you build a life beyond the therapy room. The goal isn’t to get better at doing therapy; it’s to get better at living your life—trusting yourself, navigating challenges, cultivating meaningful relationships and natural supports, and creating a life that feels aligned and fully alive. Krystal is also the creator of Live Luminous, a guided group experience for creating meaningful, lasting change through self-trust, aligned living, intentional practices, and connection (microdosing optional). Reach out or look for upcoming cohorts under Events. Beyond the Therapy Room Krystal believes a meaningful life should also be an enjoyable one. An Austin native and mother of two, she loves live music, dancing, travel, nature, and play. She believes curiosity, pleasure, connection, humor, and play aren’t extras—they’re part of being human. That philosophy carries into her work: helping people not only heal and evolve, but actually enjoy the lives they’re creating.
